Our Story

When it comes to protecting your people, property and business, experience matters. Sheridan holds an Advanced Diploma in Applied Science (Farm Management), Diploma in Electronic Engineering, with extensive telecommunications experience, Advance Diploma in Financial Service and Financial Planner for 18 year, proudly an active volunteer with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) for over 20 years. He is committed to building trusted, long-term relationships and delivering reliable fire protection solutions you can depend on.

Giving back is simply part of who we are. We are called to protect and install confidence in our community, and we remain committed to supporting the people and organisations that make the Alpine region such a special place to live and work.

NEFPS was started 2022 with the partial closure of Alpine Fire Extinguishers by Bright Fire Brigade Captain many years ago. Before fully expanding into the ski fields 2023.

Over the years, we have donated countless hours of labour, provided fire extinguisher servicing free of charge, supplied fire extinguishers to organisations in need, and assisted community facilities with safety improvements at our own expense. In some cases, we have completed maintenance work at no cost and even purchased equipment, to help local clubs continue serving their members.

We are also proud volunteers and supporters of community events including the Brighter Days Festival and the Bright Rod Run, helping to ensure these events can operate safely and successfully.

We are sponsors of the Bright Netball and Football Clubs, Project Bright, Bright Bowls Club, supporting local car racing enthusiasts and Porepunkah Panthers Baseball. Sheridan Gillham, is a volunteer, with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) for over 20 years and continues to support local events, sporting clubs and community organisations throughout North East Victoria.
